When one door closes, another opens.
For a long time I didn’t fully understand that statement,
But today I understand it perfectly.
Sometimes one must learn validity of statements
By experiencing them.
It is only by learning from life’s experiences,
That we truly learn what makes us who we are.
I have come to realizations in my life,
That sometimes doors that close were meant to close.
I have the belief that those doors that open,
Gives me the opportunity to enhance/better myself.
As I say goodbye to the places I have known for so long,
To the places that I am familiar with,
I remember both the good times and the not so good times.
It is these experiences that have shaped me.
As I close the door on one path,
I treasure the good times and learn from the bad times.
Everything becomes a memory, an imprint.
Nothing is forever forgotten.
As I write my final entry in my journal on one network,
I open up a path to a new direction,
But I remember the past fondly, for it is this past,
That molded me into the man I am NOW.
I say thank you to all those who crossed my life on AOL.
I say good luck in your endeavors.
I wish one and all your dreams come true and good dreams they be.
I hope that each of you know how special you are.
Times change, people change.
Nothing can stay the same.
The future is a path left unknown, until
One crosses into it, step by step.
In my final prose of this ode, I say;
Goodbye and Good-luck.
