Safe_Betover 15 years agoSorry, not crazy about this piece. To quote Senna Jawa (quite possibly the best poet ever to have posted in Lit) "Don't force a poem around a single good phrase." I think that is what you have done here. There is no "meat" to this piece until you get to the last stanza. Granted the rest of the piece is to set us up for the "finale", but you need to do that with more substantive content.
