'mongst the trees
Inside a glade
One day I spied
A pretty maid
Bent down to wash
In mountain stream
Garb cast aside
A sultry queen
Fresh water cold
Cast into air
She splashed the crystals
T'ward gold hair
With falling drops
And dewy eyes
She turned to me
And gave a smile

New vantage gave
A better look
I stole a glance
Her peace I took
But still she smiled
Then looked away
And bent down low
She rinsed her face
Her body glistened
As melting snow
Her milky skin
To me she showed
Now when I come
To this small glade
I can't forget
That pretty maid
