She is what I cling to when doubt sets in.
The holy Magdalene
She is my communion wine when I need to become a holy drunk.
Thank heaven for your light weight pages.
She is the moonlight when the beautiful darkness surrounds me.
Here there is a heavenly chaos.
She is righteous, everything that she is, is untainted.
Her flaws are gorgeous and her quirks make her seem angelic.
How her essence seeps through the paint.
She has a soul that seems unbound for earth and carved out of heaven.
Her body comes from mythology,
Aphrodite and Isis gave her their beauty, Athena gave her wisdom, and the Virgin Mary blessed her in motherhood.
When we fellowship in her bed I sound my joyous yawp on the level of the Gods.
How like a ghost she moves through my mind,
only to come alive in my quiet nights.
Irony is she exists only in my dreams. For if I found her in the real world,
I would die a happy man.
