In my heart i do hunger...
In my heart ,
i do hunger,
for a time,
when i was younger.
days of youth
have passed me by,
how could it be,
my time to die.
many years
have come and gone,
but now its time
to move along.
time has passed
within a blink,
so many joys
i cannot think.
The tears and fears
i thought were many,
so far behind
cant think of any.
I leave behind
a prayer so true,
That my love
will follow you.
though the tears
may start to fall,
through love and life
i had it all.
I had a love
a love so true,
the love that i once
shared with you.
And as i leave
this life behind,
there is one thing
ill keep in mind.
I would not change
a single thing,
for love and smiles
life did bring.
So to my life
i bid adeux,
and take with me
a peice of you.
