In sad, empty rooms, I remember what we longed for
In quiet corners, I remember what we sighed
I remember the nights we spoke of dreams unfulfilled
And the one night we spoke of temptation

I felt your body tremble that night
And I wondered if you felt my need
If those clear eyes held not only knowledge, but also desire
And I imagined what it would be like to love you

We spoke that night with fire in our hearts
Fueled by desperate thirst, we revealed our hunger
Only to close our eyes and turn away
Past the abandoned stage house
