Scratching at the sky
In search for the stars
All places I’ve been
Places where things were different
And so was I
Memories in the corner of my eye
Shoot through me
Like flowing water
Pure and Quick
Striving to grab on
To a life I once lived
So fast I retrace my steps
Of how I got here
On this beach
My true soul has lived here for so long
Watching the others spin
In wheels of time
I sit on my rock and ask
Is this where it is?
I take it all in
Get up off my rock and jump back in
