This light, for all the exposure

And anguish it brought me physically

Came to represent the denial of

A darker reality within my other barren world.

Those rays of revealing light

Reinforced my principals as surely

As upon the bedrock

Upon which my motives lie.

And in revealing

The garment of my past

Is shown to be

The worthless rag that it was.

No more than tattered clothe

underneath lies the man

in all his imperfection

revealed to you.

In the light you shine

upon ME.
