There once was an indian maid,
Who was mostly shy and afraid.
It was her sultry scrumptious charms,
That caused her to feel such alarm!

Whenever she'd go out to walk,
She was followed and she was stalked.
By all the men both young and old,
Each one of them acting so bold!

This beautiful indian girl,
Made all of the men's hearts whirl!
Her hips swayed like a sunflower,
She knew her looks had the power!

While walking one day she met John,
A big swedish man who was blonde.
This indian maid named Starlight,
Eloped with John that very night!

John carried her to his mountains,
And showed her his pretty fountains.
John took Starlight for his woman,
Then they both felt the bad omen!

There were hunters from Starlight's band,
Who followed this ugly white man!
"For stealing away their Starlight,
This evil man would die tonight!"

The hunters crept up on the pair,
Of two unknowing lovers there.
The hunters lost both in their strife,
Because Starlight took her own life!!
