I am the wall upon which
   You write your blasphemy.
I am the ground
Bloodied by the hearts of immaculate children.
I am the shackle
That restrains the freedom of oppressed men.
And I am the death
That touches everyone who passes me.

I am the disease
Upon which there is no cure.
I am a flower
   In a field of thorns.
I am a child
Left alone to fend for himself.
And I am the innocent
Found guilty for the crime of living life.

I am the voice
To which no one is listening.
I am the icon
Of everything that is not forgiven.
I am the sadness
   That shall overcome you constantly.
And I am the time
It took for you to love me...
