A spark
Born from the friction of our bodies
Of our lips and our minds
Drops innocently
Into the depths of me, descending
Upon the kindling of former glories

A flame
Is fed by the oxygen of my every breath
By my delighted gasps, my sudden inhalations
It pulsates
With the gentle undulations of my chest
You can feel its heat pouring from my lips

A fire
Grows within the furnace of my mind
Its heat and power are reinforcement
Its glow
Begins to crowd out the darkness of my thoughts
And it illuminates my tragic flaws

A blaze
Encapsulated by my form and will
Like a forge, the heat makes me malleable
To be reformed
White hot, and being shaped by my own hand
To better fit to you, to interlock

An inferno
Raging in the blood of my veins, in my touch
It threatens to break free of me, to end
Battering me
It possesses me, as I would possess it
It possesses me, as I would possess you

Immolation
It covers my body, consuming me from outward
Heat pours from within me, like liquid fire
This burning passion
Exists only inside of me, in my mind, my blood
But you feel it in the comforting warmth of my embrace
