Infinity's Grasp

The Universe is uncaring and Indifferent.
Humanity is only a speck upon the beach that is the universe
We are but a fragment of life that revolves around the chessboard of life and death
But we did not heed the signs!

The world has changed forever and will never be the same again
Gone are the Nations of what we knew
Gone are the vestiges of civility, the freedom of democracy,
for we have been altered.
And we did not act, when we had the means!

Here now....are the wars for food and land,
the wars for women and beliefs.
God has forsaken us, or maybe he never existed.
I fear for humanity, as we now are decadent,
and probably shall perish unto oblivion.

Because we are at the time of Infinity's Grasp.
