A burden, a hole, a crack,
The thought of it sends shivers up your back,
You never wanted it to happen,
You never wanted to be,
The one with the weight of the world,
The power to set them free,

I'm sorry it had to be like this,
I can't bear to think of what'd happen if you miss,
It is a curse that you have to endure,
Or it'll consume you,
And i will remain by you - i'm sure,
If you ask me too,

The sacrifice you make for a friend,
Someone you'll stay by with 'til the end,
Someone who you trust,
Someone who you'd you'd fight for,
Even if your actions are unjust,

These are the ones you love,
And whom love you from heaven above.
