Innocence

You say it is my innocence
     That drew you into me
Well, baby, I'm not that pure anymore
Just look and you will see

The light that used to
     Fill my eyes
Has all been slapped away

The innocence between my thighs
     You pierced that summer day

You plugged your ears
     And turned with leers
So you didn't have to know my tears

I'm a victim of my heart, you see
     And my innocence is gone

My hopes and dreams
     Have turned to mush
They've all gone down the drain

I'm a victim of society
And the bitch can kiss my ass

I was left to rot alone
     In silence and in pain

Well, my innocence you see is gone
And you have yourself to blame
