It is for you my heart so aches
feeling the shattering pain,
Our souls were joined,
as one at a moment,
our love ebbing deep.
The love I gave to you
as I could give to no other man,
may not be given to anyone again.

But, my voice doth cry as a gull,
with your soul in mine,
I feel whole.
As we parted,my body longed for
yours to embrace me,
I would surely welcome you in as a friend,
but you are much more.
When we joined again,
I felt free, as if I were afloat,
just as if I wre in a boat.

When we loved,
I gained as well as I lost,
what I gained was a loving bond,
All that has gone is my innocence,
lost and never to be found again.

Innocence lost ~ a small price to pay for all that is gained as your soul finds completion.
