Innocence once had a simple name.
Beauty once had a simple meaning.
Life once had something special for me.
And for once in my life, I felt safe, even for a little while.

I know I will laugh, in a while, when the pain stops.
I know I can only cry, right here and now.
I felt in my place, by your side, on my knees.
But that’s over, that’s over.

Your power was immense.
Your love was so strong.
So where, tell me where it all went wrong.
Cause you where all I ever wanted.
Even though all told me it would not last, forever.

Now it`s all dead, it passed away.
The feelings of happiness, love, safety and joy, they are only memories.
All I feel now is darkness surrounding me like a heavy cloak.
Pulling me more down, into the ground.

With not a single glitter of light, no laughter or joy.
No love or anything for me.
Time will tell if I am able to love once more as I loved you.
