Envious faces,
Reflect disgraces,
Sides of you that you try and hide,
While I wear mine with growing pride,
You try so hard to act perfect,
Walking with your back erect,
Afraid to slip and let us all see,
That your actually flawed to a tee,
It makes you weak,
For approval you seek,
Yet here I stand ,
My flaws becoming my own brand,
Not afraid of them,
Nor ashamed of them,
They are me,
And they are my key.
Like a plant given light,
They grow to match it's might,
Not hidden in a shed,
Where soon they will become dead,
Accept who you are,
Each flaw is but a scar,
A reminder of mistakes made,
And new paths that need to be laid,
So I immerse them in the flames of my heart,
Purifying and allowing them to do their part,
Making me stronger,
Letting corruption stir,
Knowing myself better than a lie,
But you fool yourself so slowly you'll die,
Withering from a weakness you denies existence,
So it grows into your facade of a heart making it grow dense,
Much like you,
Lying as it spreads claiming you never knew,
But my flaws,
They are my cause,
To grow strong with them,
Never from them letting my ego stem,
For they are not my foes,
But a hidden strength waiting to be turned to my characters pros,
So while I seem a shamble of a man,
That is because I know what I can,
And when I sort out my roots in this pot,
Then I will accomplish that which before I could not,
Not lying to myself,
But growing from each lessons wealth!
