"I haven't been always,
This helpless,
This weak,
This unproductive,
This wreck.

I just needed some company.
Just a tiny bit,
Even if I don't speak.
Just a little,
Even if I can't give back.
Just now,
When I'm in this pit.
Just while,
I'm in this fucking stage of my life.

You may not see, or feel it.
But just my coming here to beg for that,
Took a fucking loads of courage from me.

And you're this hard.
This tough.
This cold hearted.

So I cave in,
More shuttered then before.
And I will speak no more,
Keep it all, inside my head.

Then another like you comes,
Asking too many questions,
At the end, blaming me for being distant,
Pointing out, it all lies in the choices I make.

Then leaves me behind.

Can't you see?
I can't process that,
Not now.

All I need is love.
The only thing,
I know is the cure.
That time,
Patience,
Uderstanding,
Softness,
Care,
Kindness,
Genuineness.

Don't I deserve just a little of those?

This repeats,
Endlessly."

And it's all in my head,
Sometimes, I reach the part,
Where feeling and thinking,
NOTHING,
Seems better,
Than feeling and thinking,
About everything.

Still I'm shouting:
"HELP!",
Silently.

Thank you

I speak from a first person POV. A big bunch of my pieces are about depression and emancipating the mind of a depressed, anxious, anhedonic person. I hope to share and get more of them approved for publication.

If you are battling, I wish you all the best.

If you know one who is, just be more patient, understanding and just be there for that person. They might not say and show it, but they needed you no matter how snob and aloof they may get.

All the best and thank you for appreciating my piece!
