You invade the bleak wastelands of my dreams.
Violating the privacy of my sleep.
I am seduced, broken open, freed...

Begging to welcome this strange invasion of my worlds; as I begin to need the strong sanctuary of your arms.

Somehow I know the nights you would come for me.
I scent myself with the essence of wild roses, drape my body in silken air.

Begging for more of your lingering possession.
My lips caress your name and you come for me,
Dulling my senses with the sweet opium of your kiss.

I open myself to you, surrendering unto you my very being.
Together we dance the wanton steps choreographed by our desire.

Performing out the stages of our passions.

Bringing to reality the dream lover; nicely done.

I'd only suggest that the line, "Begging to welcome..." be split into two lines, rather than that one long one. Of course, if you really want to see what all the poets here would suggest, join in on the Poetry Feedback and Discussion Forum; everything from the poets' blog to threads for posting poems for dissection; something for every poet.
