Softly dawn breaks
Golden rays flood
Bathing tangled arms and legs
Nestled in satin sheets
Early morning’s silence
Showcases the evenness of breath
A contrast to last night
Of breathless heated bodies
Waking spooned in your arms
Your warm breath
On the nape of my neck
Your arms around my waist
I stretch, as lazy as a cat
Reaching high overhead
My breasts dance
Hips sway
You come awake
Hands trace my hips and waist
I wiggle against you
And I feel you stir
I turn to face you
Our lips meet in a kiss
Tongues invade and tangle
A mutual invitation.
