The island is a joy
And the church is its draw
It's always the church!
Perhaps people don't realize this
The church lies there..up there
And down there amidst the old streets Is joy for this is where
The sun is felt
The sun high up beats against the High walls but the people are below
In the evening the sun will continue To beat for it is not morning now
It is evening and you can feel the light and sun together
And there too is the sea and joy
This is how some people define joy
Inside too the sun shines
But it is synthetic
Inside, outside
The distinction doesn't matter here
