Click hereI hate you Istanbul, I really hate you
As I hate cold, hunger and pain.
You offered nothing to me
Anything good or beneficial
Any excitement or joy.
You offered me
Tenement after tenement,
Bad public schools,
Financial insecurity.
Like a first class whore
You delivered you riches
To the wealthy and privileged.
As an old guy
I see you as a wasteland
A waste of time.
I don’t want to live among
These uncultivated, restrictive
Dark, ugly and coarse people any more.
I don't want to see poorly regulated landscape
Hindering and dimming my eyes.
I used to get lost in your urban jungle
You are a neverland to me
I live some other place virtually.
We are like a defunct marriage
I want to divorce you.
I don’t want to spend the rest of my life with you
I save money, to save myself from you.
I prepare myself to leave you someday
To find some other place to live
Offering good prospects than you.
PS: Istanbul is the biggest city and metropolitan area in Turkey.

You have some interesting material here to work with. I hate to call it material. It's your life. Unfortunately, this poem is all tell and no show. But that's fixable. It needs to be fleshed out with more details. Pick out any two or three lines in the poem and show the reader some examples.
