lost myself in the blood
pills in his pocket cops
on his ass, wondered
for a moment if he could
even get it up for me
abhorrent process
of tempting fish, plastic
sparkles, glitter murders
we never kissed
but we cheered together
when we scored, my aunts son,
my mother’s nephew, same need
same passion for the lure
same hollow, different time,
only able to remember now long
silent strolls, smiles and secrets
