It was my birthday yesterday
The worst day of my life
My 30th birthday
No party
No presents
No nothing
Yeah, I loved every minute of it

It was my birthday yesterday
A day that will for me live on forever
In bitter memory
A day where
I was ignored by friends
Barely even spoken to by family
I pray I don't live to celebrate another
Or do I?
I just don't know anymore

It was my birthday yesterday
Never have I felt so invisible
Never have I felt so unwanted and unloved
As if I were nothing more then dirt
As if it were just another ordinary day
Not my special day
Made and still makes me wish that I were dead....sometimes

Maybe then
Next time around
On the anniversary
They would notice me
They would leave behind presents and a cake on my grave
Yeah right
I bet they would forget

Just like they all did this year!

Ya know when I was in primary school, I remember sitting on the tack shed porch. with a knife in my hand, wondering if they would even miss me. was 9- 10 years old. Am 73 now and still wonder the same thing
