There are no words to express
the way you make me feel.
the tenderness of your softest caress,
the sting when your hand is like steel.
No mere words could make you see
the thoughts within my head.
No picture could make you feel me,
a Picasso would be easier to understand.
And so I'll have to settle
for the standard "I Love You,"
And hope each time I say it,
you'll see in my eyes that it's true.
