The ghost of Jimi Hendrix
singing in my brain
stretching his guitar
beyond it's limitations
clouded by purple haze.

All his concerts in Heaven
free of charge to everyone
atmosphere is electric
Jimi is alive again.

If Jimi had lived
another thirty years
music would have improved
nobody would have challenged him.

Jimi blow my mind
into a thousand small pieces
playing guitar with your teeth.
I can hear you in my dreams.

Jimi Hendrix the greatest
you will live for ever
in my memory
all along the watchtower.
