I was born with an intensity most can't handle.
I hide my pain behind a brightly lit candle.
Filled with fear to even say I miss you.
Afraid that'll be the last time I see you.
Because no one believes in depth anymore.
Afraid of the ocean, you stand on the shore.
But inside me, the water is so clear.
Why are you afraid? Why the fear?
But I'm tired of living behind these walls.
I'm ready to chase those waterfalls.
So if you want inside this heart,
Know this is only the start.
Because once I give, I give wholeheartedly.
And you'll always have a space inside of me.
Know I'm full of passion and fire.
Everything your heart could desire.
But I'm also gentle, sweet, and caring.
Perfect for that best friend pairing.
So if you're interested in this journey with me,
Take a deep breath, and let's jump in the sea.

Perfect

I love the way the rhythm flows so easily throughout the poem. Nice piece, I wouldn't change a thing.
