I wander through eternity,
Like a never ending song.
A journey of monotony,
It seems so very long.
I've roamed the world high and low,
Across mountains, plains, and sea.
For what I search I do not know,
Yet something beckons me.
Why? I ask, is this my fate,
What is it I have done?
This loneliness I do so hate,
It weighs a million tons.
It doesn't matter, night or day,
Regardless of the hour.
As I go by folks turn away,
I see them cringe and cower.
I aim no harm and claim no debt,
So why do they shun me?
When next I come, I'll lay a bet,
They'll beckon me to flee.
The time is near for me to go,
Yes, Winter will soon end
And still my loneliness will grow,
Because I'm the Winter Wind.
