The sound of the drum beat
Carries my spirit
Across the threshold
To stand with the spirits
Paw prints lead me to the entrance
The scent of Wolf fills my senses
His eyes glow in the darkness of the cave
He guides me to Warrior
Cool walls under my fingertips
Tracing the familiar patterns of rock
As I make my way deeper into the cave
In the center
Fire burning
Warrior painted
Dancing,
Chanting
Preparing
Dark eyes focused
Warrior moves into power
His message is one of readiness
One word he gives me……. Prepare….
