It is said that absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Well baby, I believe that to be so very true,
For no matter how great the distance
That at this moment, is between me and you,
Only serves to make the love I have in my heart
Grow stronger during the daytime and nighttime too.
In everything I do or say,
My thoughts always turn to you,
For I wonder what it would be like
To do those things, for and with you.
This in turn makes me long for the day
When I can share everything I do with you.
I know deep down in my heart and soul,
That the day when we no longer have to be apart,
Will be one of the happiest days of our lives,
For then we will finally be able to start
To forever spend and share our lives together,
Giving to each other what we now feel in our heart.
I know the days and nights without you by my side
Can, and do often make me feel so lonely and sad,
But that's because I love you oh so much
And because I long to be with you so bad,
But I know that the wonderful day will soon come,
When I will have that which I have never had.
A life time of joy and fulfillment with you, my love.
