Olive-eyed muse,
Intangible but very real,
Smooth maddening syllables
(Julia...
     Julia...
          Julia...).
Orioles and Redpolls in your hair
You exist in lilting tree audio
And little more.
With a length of plaited passion
I would as soon rope down stars
If only for proof of
Gentle,
     Genial,
          Julia,
Julia,
Julia.

Sometimes the desiring . . .

. . . is even better than the having. I loved the longing.

Beautiful

I felt the sense of longing here, quite a tender and beautiful piece. Excellent imagery and rhythm.

Great stuff

Julia

Oh - what a girl was Julia. Obvious the desired object of affection.
