Once upon a moment's glory
One boy, one girl, and here's their story.
They crossed paths but never knew
Just what, to each other, they could do.
She eyed him up, he eyed her down,
He winked at her, she tossed a frown.
"What insolence do I find here?
Your disrespect, it is quite clear!"
"Oh no, my friend, I am just playing,
Listen closely to what I'm saying."
He leaned far in, what did he hear?
Well, I will tell you, give me your ear.
"My friend, it seems, I'm through looking
For someone who can get my skin cooking,"
She shook her hair and sadly sighed,
Of her searches, all decried.
"But what is this? It can't be true,
You've found no one to beat on you?"
The young man was clearly shocked,
Aghast that her searches were so plainly blocked.
"Yes, it's true, I just can't seem
To find someone so rightly mean.
To bend me over and whip my skin,
No wonder this is the state I'm in!"
For a moment, he thought to himself,
Amazed at this newfound wealth.
Then, a hand on his collar, one in his hair,
"My dear, I'm glad I found you standing there.
I think, your situation, I can help.
I can make you scream and yelp."
Her eyes got big, her smile wide,
"I've searched for you, I've really tried.
Where have you been, all this time?
Well, never mind, now it's fine."
Although their story begins here, not ends,
I'll leave this tale of these two friends,
As a gift for you to continue and embellish,
Give them tasks for each to relish.
One boy, one girl, one chance meeting,
Quickly lead to a fairytale beating.
