For now, I will not feel
Eventually the pain will stop
Then I will start to heal

It won't take too long
It's just a broken heart, besides
Without it I am strong

I will embrace the process
Anger, Hurt, then Numbness
I'll pick up all the pieces

Then finally, no pain
Just pure and happy thoughts
And slowly I will feel again...

numbness!

I have been through that feeling, and the thought that if you remove your broken heart you will get strongeris good- sometimes it's good to act without your heart, to get through life, till you feel it pulse again.

Whoever wrote its crap hasn't ever felt emotion or expression by poetry!!!
