JUST AN OTHER FACE IN THE CROWD

I saw you standing there
across a crowded room.
My fate was sealed,
it led me to my doom.
you probably didn't notice,
you probably didn't care.
But I was lost forever
in your eyes and golden hair.

I wanted to talk to you,
but didn't know what to say.
can't explain right now,
why I feel this way.
you may look my way,
but you don't see me at all.
and if you were mine,
I'd be the happiest of all.
but to you
I'm just another face in the crowd

Captured Feeling

I'm sure that, at some point, everyone has felt this way. You captured the rush of a crush and the heartbreaking depression of animity. Very well written.
