Oh you think you're all that
So smooth
I can see right through you
I can see through your stains
I can see through your etchings
Half Empty
Half full
Truth is
You're just another Pane
Just a section of the whole
Just a piece of the collection
I can see the cracks
I can see the imperfections
You think you can break me?
What do you think you can
chip away?
You think you can cut me?
Cause me Pain?
The light shines through
on you
And I can see it all
The truth
You can shimmer
as the rain falls against you
You can try to blind me with the
reflection
You can try to surprise me with a prism
of color
Fool me into thinking that you
are oh so special
You are nothing new
Seen you before
Perhaps it was a different
Window, but you are the same Pane
It won't work
Like all the rest
You ain't nothing special
You are just a
another
Pane,
In My
GLASS
