Passing you by in the corridor I just can't seem to read your face,
All it seems to do is make my heart quicken its pace.
I look into you eyes and there is not much I can see,
Your demeanor is cool and at times a touch frosty.
Should I open my heart and tell you how much I care,
But I think twice wondering if I should dare?
For it would mean to let you know that I have a crush,
But I fear you would sweep my emotions under with a brush.
So I spend my empty days gazing at you from afar,
You are like earth and me some distant star.
You go about your daily chores blissfully unaware,
Of this silent admirer who is full of despair.
But enough is enough and the time has come,
So I screw up my courage and then some.
I walk up and silently push open your cabin door,
And there you are, together with the boss on the floor.
