Even now,you look just like anyone else... normal.
Ive seen your brightest smile, heard the most gentle expressions
of love from your lips
witnessed your vulnerabilities and flaws
Maybe I was dreaming you all along...

For only dreams can so easiely shift their tone and meaning
the way you switched off your humanity
that everyday sincerity and giving I once knew
long departed
your passion suddenly under lock and key
as a thick fog of indifference and cruelty
rolled in
seperateing us.

I searched through that never ending fog
praying for a beacon of hope
a nugget of life
loseing myself,never finding you.
