worms fishes piss stained socks.
the sky the air the coo of night.
the subsequent investigation and
incarceration. time spent all for
mud stained knees, a pinch, and red
spotted knickers.

...continued

try working with the text yourself. change it up to make it make sense to you. think about what words or word combinations strike you and why, if any.

Hi Maria!

thanks for your feedback. sometimes I like to write what I call word pictures-pulling language like taffy or the losing side of a game of tug of war. I suggest that you read the words slowly and out loud for the best effect. If it still doesn't register or make you feel as if you have a better grasp on the text.

I didn't vote

because, and I am being HONEST, not mean, but I just didn't "get" it. And I know that is on me, of course, but I feel the work is vague. I don't think it is bad, not at all, and I don't know how you would change it to make me understand, and that would be wrong anyway. I didn't vote because I plan to return and reread, so I am not giving up, I just want to understand!

thanks for making me think :)
