Hair like fire
and eyes like emeralds
She's beautiful beyond compare

Her smile sparkles like the sun
But her soul is black
Like the darkside of the moon

The world's not fair
I know who and what she is
Yet I'd still move the earth at her whim

it's rare coming across a poem

where every line is cliche. Why not try and write something personal about your relationship that might interest the reader? some details that no one could call cliche. Poetry is good when it's about suffering because of someone else, but you haven't described suffering, you've given an outline of what a poem might look like in a children's grammar book.
