Anonymousover 18 years agojust chiming in, this is my favorite of your poems here. All hail simplicity. the last line is one that will stay with me.
I was going to suggest you consider shortening the last phrase from the second line (hell if it hasn't left my brain) but when I read it, the sound of it, it needed to be there.
Is this more of a senryu? Doesn't have to "be" anything, just thought it might fit the bill.
