------------------------------

A loneliness came over me last night,
An emotion that I just could not fight.
I lay in a room void of all light.
Like a small child, I was filled with fright.

Then suddenly, Oh my. What a sight.
The vision of you was so clear and bright.
I heard you say, "Everything's all right."
With just one kiss all my worries took flight.

I felt your arms holding me oh so tight,
And I held on to you with all of my might,
Thank you baby, for helping me fight,
The lonely feeling that came over me last night.
