She slept the sleep of the mortally wounded
and he watched her day by day
her beauty in his eyes never faltered
as slowly she slipped away.
Then her eyes opened wide as she whispered
I'm tired please let me go
I only came back to tell you
just how much I love you so.

immanent love and loss

Could not tell if the dying is human or not despite the talking line as I felt it might be an image of the perception. At any case it was poignant in conveying the immanent love and loss
