Our life is made up of expressions
A product of our own intentions.
There must be some great design,
But where am I in this plot?
I don’t see what I could be
Save a broken link in life’s chain.

Do you hear that chime?
It is death’s own expression.
He comes stinging and biting as a bee.
He comes for you with bad intentions.
Can you get anyone to take your spot?
We will all one day fall into death’s design.

From life you will resign
Bound to life, death severs the chain.
I do not see myself in death’s plot.
It seems from doom I have exemption.
For me to live must be someone’s intention –
But who in this world could it be?

Not even an ant does death let be.
Perhaps it is my own destiny.
Something of my own implementation,
Maybe I am not a broken link but the whole chain
Being that great force or its expression
Where all other beings fall into my plot.

Broken as I thought others shall take my place
Day and night my life and death shall be
Storms and sunshine as my expression.
Seasons and years part of my design.
The world revolving on my chain,
People fall on my intentions.

Death and life moving upon my own intentions –
Everything according to this plot.
I am that force, that linking chain.
Life stays as I wish it to be,
But now I am distraught,
Life has refused to be my expression.

My expression is gone. Death is my plot.
My intentions of life are gone, and death will be
The design is gone. I was a broken link in this now whole chain.
