Letting go of last year's Jack,
It's Samhain tonight, hold nothing back,
Let last year's pains dissolve in flame,
Leaving new growth to evolve in the game,
Let down your guard and let down your hair,
And fly up on high, with nary a care,

Off, now, witches, be free and fly high,
Dance with the Samhain moon in the sky,
Release all the woes and shames of yesterday,
And let the truth come out tonight to play,
Fly free and fly high, and make the sheep scream,
Fly over their heads and fly through the moonbeams,

And as that last pumpkin drops from your hand,
Don't look down, don't care where it lands!
As it shatters and splatters and takes with it your sorrows,
Be thankful for Samhain and all these brand new tomorrows!
Let go now of last year's Jack!
And this year, witches, hold nothing back!
