Fading twilight rings unknown night,
serpents burrow, cool from no light,
wise ones beckon, though searching prey
Magic twinkles, to night from day.

Hurry homeward, to catch this time,
a most favorite, yours and mine,
Complete front porch in one small leap,
Hearing shower, before thy sleep.

Happily onward, taking steps,
waltzing behind, kiss fingertips,
then your shoulder, I softly kiss,
magic hands on thy neck, speak bliss.

Rejoice to see thee, end of day,
Giggles and laughter; while we play,
Though seeing other, is delight,
We waltz the porch swing...fade...to night.
