throwing unrelated pennies in my house.
coming uniquely for you,
to hold your hand and speak
of buckled seats leaning
clutching conservative skirt
in fist filled white knuckled

naughty postal boy
waits for stamp licking
in fathers postal
slots
in come ladies for sending, handling him
the scented envelopes
then lean far forward
to watch his moisten.
father forbid them tipping,
was ignorant of special deliveries
