Upon the precipice she stands
Does she dare a true leap of faith
Flinging herself free.

Air cradling, caressing like a lovers
gentle breathy teasings
Gravity inexorably drawing down
but in that freefall unfettered

No pleading demands for sex,
from a partner that won't understand her needs
no screaming demands of children
no bills to pay

The only pressure in her control
The only decision, should she jump

Sun glints off auburn hair
Pale blue, tear filled eyes open
Envisioning the moment of clarity
Where all that matters is the fall.

falling.....

A good piece but slightly cold and unemotional for the subject. You're really showing progress todski, well done.

thanks erectus, yes it was about a decision.

thanks for the smile 1201. I was going to put a flippant remark that we were actually out bunjee jumping and she was scared of heights hence the tears, however I didn't allude to any of that so how would you know?

(above comment is for joke only, this piece is tired and predictable as stated)

nicely done

the precipice is obviously a metaphor for decision

a hexagon of terror
