In the stretch of heart that is my path
through to your landscape
your rocky soul
I surge now over stones like tide
water blunts scizzors
water melts paper
water carves rock.
Water shuffles stone to sand
breaks down elements, rolls edges smooth
Patient, drawn over your surfaces
in the sweep, dawn to dusk
moon to ripe moon this wash
laves earth, caresses its edges
strokes its fingers down through dunes
runs jungles, melts wood, carves the cliff
in the circle of clouds the sea serpent
rain-dragon birthing itself from the sky belly
and rushing down to join, to work the curve.
Water blunts scizzors
water melts paper
Water sculpts rock

Indiana Jones take a lesson!

I was taken, again by your remarkable ability to portray pictures of vast dimensions in few quick drawings. You did it so well with the theme of 'water conquers all forces of nature' as an image to your emotional determination to conquer your lover. Somehow though, I felt left out in those wild scenes and jungles, knowing too little about that loved one.
