Drips of rain, droplets
misting her eyes and
brows
were they fallen
on her flesh or
trailed from the sacs
she knew
but wasn't telling
He knows but
won't admit

Together they sat,
the suns light
dwindling, the dusk
advancing

Darkness forebodes
for Some Feeds others
I am Incarnate,
Fury and Hunger
Thirst and Famine.
Give Me what drives thee
then I shall sate
your desires.

That crackle as
the sticks are bundled
tied, those leather
sighs as the oil soaks
in , Minty
fiery all rampant in the Burn
that lingers. she asked for it,
waited
He will give,
as is His wont.

The closer...

...you read, the hotter this gets. When the words are done you know what's next,.....and long as you imagine!

this really is interesting

and I had to read your poem twice.

this stanza really grabs my attention:

That crackle as

the sticks are bundled

tied, those leather

sighs as the oil soaks

in , Minty

fiery all rampant in the Burn
