When love is so far away
And touch is merely accidental
No differential language
One is inevitably alone
Incumbent melancholia
Hidden my strength’s flippant demeanor
Strikes deep in old bones
Aged and brittled by time
Flocked by civilization
And forced to face life’s fullest
Surrounded by all dreams imaginable
There is only blatant loss
With voices breaking all silence
And solitude smashed by humanity
Caged by false cordiality
Disgusted by useless intrusion
Day after day, they carry on
Solace is found in fairytale fancy
Work is done, dusk falls
Homeward bound at the last
